Titanium insert 20 um

Titanium filter insert with finesse 20 µm is designated as filter cartridge for sanitary cassette filter 20". It serves mainly for coarser and pre-filter stages, where larger particles such as sludge, yeast residues, hop particles or mechanical impurities need to be captured.

Thanks to the execution of of porous titanium is an insert fully washable, regenerable and reusable, which significantly reduces operating costs compared to disposable filter cartridges. It is suitable for use in breweries, microbreweries, when filtering beer, wine, cider and other food liquids.

An insert is typically used as:

• pre-filtration before finer filter stages,

• protection of fine and sterile filters,

• filtration before pasteurization or other technological operation.

The titanium insert withstands mechanical cleaning, flushing, backwashing and chemical sanitation, and is thus suitable for CIP processes.
